RULES and QUALIFICATIONS
These are the Rules and Qualifications for La Sexta Entrega de Los Premios Tejano Mundial 2026 for CANCIÓN del AÑO – HOMENAJE:
The Work must have been released between January 1 2025 and December 31 2025.
The following will disqualify the Performance in this category:
* If songwriter(s) and publisher(s) for the FIRST version of the original work are not properly credited on all media formats, it will NOT qualify for Canción del Año (Homenaje).
Premios Tejano Mundial supports the tribute or honoring of artists from the past by covering their work at events or in recorded format).
While Original Works is what we will be honoring at Premios Tejano Mundial, this category will be the exception.
